Dress Code

The dress code in Israel is quite informal. An acceptable dress code for the SWIM Meeting is “ Casual” , no jacket and tie are required. The field trip will require light hiking shoes and hats. It might be helpful to travel with a spare set of shoes as the hiking shoes could get dirty.

All international symposium participants are eligible to enter Israel. Citizens of North American, Western European and many Asian and South American countries need only a valid passport in order to be admitted entry to Israel. Please note that your passport must have a minimum of 6 months validity prior your arrival to Israel.

Individuals residing in countries without diplomatic relations with Israel should write to the Secretariat no later than three months prior to the Conference, giving their full name, date and place of birth, nationality, passport number, dates of issue and expiry, place of issue, flight number, point of departure and arrival date and time.
